Asphalt Shingle Roofing · Toronto & GTA

Asphalt shingle roofing specified for your home

Architectural shingle installation and repair for Toronto and GTA homes.

Serving Toronto and communities across the GTA. We inspect first, explain the options, and put the proposed scope in writing.

What the service covers

Start with the whole roof problem.

A durable shingle roof depends on the full assembly: deck, water protection, underlayment, ventilation, starter, field shingles, ridges, and flashings. We explain the specified system rather than selling a shingle colour as the whole roof.

  • Architectural shingle options
  • Roof-system planning
  • Starter and ridge details
  • Valley and flashing integration
  • Repair and full replacement scopes

Asphalt Shingle Roofing FAQ

Questions homeowners ask us

What are architectural shingles?

Architectural shingles use a laminated profile that creates more depth than traditional three-tab shingles. Performance varies by product, so we review the complete system, installation requirements, and written warranty rather than relying on appearance alone.

How do I choose a shingle colour?

Consider brick, siding, trim, neighbouring homes, and how the colour looks in daylight. We can review available samples for the products included in your estimate before materials are ordered.

Can new shingles go over old shingles?

A layover can conceal deck conditions and adds weight. For a complete replacement, removing the old covering allows the deck and details to be inspected and the new system to start from a known surface.

What causes shingle granule loss?

Some loose granules are normal, especially around installation, but heavy or uneven loss can indicate aging, foot traffic, or weather damage. We look at the pattern and surrounding condition.

Are all shingle warranties the same?

No. Material warranties differ by product and have conditions, exclusions, and registration requirements. Our full-replacement workmanship warranty covers our installation for 10 years; the manufacturer documentation covers the selected material separately.
