What is included in a complete roof replacement?

The scope normally covers tear-off and disposal, deck inspection, the specified water-protection layers, shingles, listed flashing and ventilation work, and cleanup. Because roofs differ, your written estimate is the final record of exactly what is included for your home.

What happens if damaged plywood is found?

The roof deck becomes visible during tear-off. If we find soft, rotten, or unsuitable sections, we document them and explain the required replacement. Additional decking is handled using the terms in your written estimate and is not completed as an unexplained surprise.

How much does a roof replacement cost in Toronto?

Roof area, slope, access, tear-off requirements, decking condition, materials, flashing, and ventilation all affect price. Two homes with similar floor plans can have very different roofs, so we measure the actual structure and provide a written scope rather than a fixed online price.

Do you install ice and water shield and synthetic underlayment?

We specify the protective layers appropriate to the roof design and agreed system. The written estimate identifies the planned ice and water protection, underlayment, and key detail work so you can compare the scope clearly before signing.

What warranty comes with a full roof replacement?

We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on full replacements. Material warranty terms come from the manufacturer and depend on the products selected. We put the applicable workmanship and material information in writing with the job documents.

How long will replacement take?

Timing depends on roof size, complexity, weather, access, and any deck repairs found after tear-off. We give you a project schedule for the approved scope and keep you informed if weather or newly exposed conditions affect it.
